Devin Mason
Devin Mason is a software engineer, AI consultant, and founder of Deft Point Consulting in Tampa, Florida.
Devin founded Deft Point Consulting to help founders and operators turn early software ideas into systems people can actually use. His work sits across product engineering, AI implementation, workflow automation, data, and technical strategy.
Deft Point works as a focused technical partner: clarify the must-have product slice, build it with production in mind, connect the systems around it, and continue improving what users and operators depend on.
Devin leads both the engineering and technical decision-making behind each engagement, giving clients a direct path from idea to implementation.
His technical background spans full-stack application development, systems integration, and data engineering. Devin approaches each project by writing production code directly rather than managing distant teams, combining hands-on implementation with architecture and scoping decisions that keep software projects moving forward without months of back-and-forth.
Based in Tampa, Florida, Devin works with clients across the United States on a remote-first basis. This model allows Deft Point to serve founders and operators who need immediate technical execution and strategic guidance without the overhead of building an in-house engineering department.
